Intention: Strength
For it is the Lord your God who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to give you victory. Deuteronomy 20:4 (NRSV)
When you’re feeling defeated, God reaches down and whispers to your soul, “Rise up! I am fighting for you.” God’s word makes us battle ready. Question for you. Are you thriving or surviving? When we stand on the authority of God’s truth in any trial, we can overcome. Imagine the perfect victory you’d have if each day, you prayed this over yourself and believed it!
LORD God, I’ve been shadow boxing fear for a long time and I’m weary of fighting in the darkness. Train me for battle and refresh my spirit. Today, I learn to ____________________. Shine your glory and teach me to counter attack with your truth. Amen.
